I have spent years shooting since 2002 (with in camera processing) that produced very interesting and unusual illustrative images of color based on temperature. Most photographers I spoke with discounted this medium as less than professional, just trickery. Now, low and behold, this format has become standard for many photographers. Illustrative converts and otherwise nominal image into a very interesting representation of colors and shadows. When you compare the same standard photographic image the remarkable difference is quite astounding. It's fun to shoot this way and experiment in camera rather than resort to post editing for the same result.
