Landscape is all about patience. The scene may be static but the elements of light, wind, rain, sun, shadows and color change minute by minute. The Ecola Beach frame is a perfect example. I arrived about 9 am to begin watching and hopefully capturing the changing light and colors. I shot for nearly eight hours and captured some very nice water and ocean scenes, but the evening colors which I hoped would emerge as the sun angle changed in to a sunset aura, did not happen. Generally, light is the major factor for any landscape shot. All elements of the composition can to some degree be controlled, except light and weather conditions.
